Believe it or not, changing the headlight light bulb in your car is an easy task. Drivers of all experience levels are capable of changing the light bulb. The important thing to know is that there are different sizes and brightness levels to choose from. If you don't know the size that your vehicle requires, don't worry. Auto part stores have catalogs designated to help you find what size your particular car requires. All you have to know is the year, make, and model of your vehicle.
After determining what size you need, the next step is choosing the brightness of the bulb. There are pro's and cons to each brightness intensity. The brighter bulbs give better vision for the driver, but have a shorter lifespan than the less bright bulbs. They are also more expensive. The lesser bright bulbs have the opposite effect. They don't give quite as good road visibility, but have a long lifespan.
Installing headlight light bulbs is just as easy as determining what size you need. The video on the right gives a visual step-by-step guide of how to change a headlight bulb. Below are the main points this video provides.
